Did You Know?

  1. Conservation is the lease expensive way to reduce your energy use.
  2. According to ENERGY STAR®, consumers can save $180 per year by properly setting their thermostats and maintaining those settings.  Turn the temperature up in the summer and down in the winter.
  3. Many electronics and appliances use electricity even when they're not turned on.  Computers, televisions, small kitchen appliances, and cell phone or camera chargers are the main culprits of "phantom" energy use.  Unplug them when they're not in use, or connect them to a power strip that can be turned on when needed.
