Pella Cooperative Electric recently awarded $1500 dollars in college scholarships to local graduates.

The cooperative offers two $500 scholarships through the Pella Dollars for Scholars Program – one to a student at Pella High School and one to a student at Pella Christian High School. A third at-large scholarship is offered to students at other area schools or home schools. All scholarship recipients have parents or guardians who are members of Pella Cooperative Electric.

"We would like to congratulate these students on their hard work and academic success over the course of their high school career," said CEO John R. Smith. "We wish them the best as they begin their collegiate education."
