Why We Need YOU!

Electric cooperatives were born in politics. From day one when we first lit up rural America, electric cooperatives have been involved with this nation’s government.

Fast forward to today and we still strive to connect with legislators on topics and issues that affect every member of our co-op, which is where you come in.

PCEA is seeking members to help by being involved in a member advisory committee where members will help the co-op take steps forward in legislative issues. Members on the AIM (Advise, Input, Membership) Committee will also offer suggestions on events and communications along with serving as a liaison in our local communities.

Applicants must be a member of Pella Cooperative Electric and are willing to give their time to this important service. Sign up today!

• Participate in grassroot advocacy with legislators and petition on issues that affect you and other members
• Be able to network with other members and the community
• Offer input on PCEA activities, events and communications
• And simply the opportunity to be involved!

The Board of Directors will finalize the committee appointments.  The selection process is designed to obtain adversity by gender, age, geographic location, and occupation.

Serving on this committee will be rewarding both professionally and personally.  It provides the opportunity to be involved in important legislative issues, shape the success and future of Pella Cooperative Electric and network with other committee members and the community.
