Start Service

Welcome to the co-op family! To get started with Pella Cooperative Electric:

  1. Download and complete the Member Application.
  2. Please include the following with your application:
  • A copy of your driver's license
  • A letter of credit from your previous electrical service provider
  • If a letter of credit is unavailable or does not meet requirements, a deposit will be required. This deposit will be equal to the highest monthly bill from the past 12 months.
  • Important: Do not submit copies of previous utility bills in place of a letter of credit. These are not accepted.
  1. Send it back to us. Drop it in the mail back to us, email or fax us your application, or stop by the office.
